Ok, another Whitesville W.VA fan here. I have expereinced first hand since 1970 the changes and even the Non changes of Whitesville area. For both my parents were born and raised in the immediate areas surrounding Whitesville. "Sylvester & Pettus" to be exact. Last Name of KIDD & PERDUE. I will always cherish the memories of swimming in the Big Coal River, Great Pizza and Shooting Pool at Jr's Place downtown Whitesville and always on the lookout for snakes! Never will you find a place were the people are more humble, kind and proud of family and there values!Anybody who knows of my family members in the Whitesville area and all up and down Route 3 are encouraged to reply.

I know there is no cell phone service there. I am a vendor who has to visit the area periodically, and it seems dead to me. But, for anyone who is there, American Greetings is looking for a card clerk for the Rite Aid in Whitesville.

I see at this moment around 500 or so. Yes people left to fine there way in life. All of my folks are resting down at Orgas. Well that is where I will be be some day. I want to see the old place this fall. If any of you knew the Hatfields Brenda Linda Larry and Bucky what is us. I hope that is is well and God Bless all. Bucky
