Weekend ride through Laurel Fork Wilderness / Spruce Knob
Had to get out this weekend a bit to clear my head after my best friend passed away. Met up with some riders outside of Elkins Saturday afternoon and rode into Laurel Fork for a night. Pretty much foggy and drizzle all weekend, but the leaves are starting to change.
My DR650 all loaded up with gear, a view of the campsite, some riders made it to the Helvetia parade, a nice shot from near Spruce Knob and lastly- the sumac showing the signs of things to come. Rode out of Laurel Fork to Spruce Knob then over near Riverton for some lunch, then back into Clarksburg. Too foggy most of the time for decent pics..
