News, Bigfoot hunters turn to rugged West Virginia wilderness.
ELKINS, W.Va. — A team of Bigfoot enthusiasts is hoping to find the legendary creature in the bogs and barrens of a West Virginia wilderness area.
Members of Sasquatch Watch of Virginia went camping in the rugged Allegheny Mountain highlands of the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area with GPS navigators, cameras, voice recorders and plaster of Paris to make casts of huge footprints.

Sorry..too close together for the gait...and width.
That trick was done by a couple of kids with improvised stilts...
Any creature 7' tall will have a step of about 5' in length...the average man is 32" or less...
ha ha but a nice way to show off the new snowfall from yesterday....gave you points for the deception...

I'd like to go on one of those 'bigfoot expeditions, but in some cases I know when to leave 'well enough alone.
It would be my luck to be killed by them and dragged off to some cave and then enjoyed like some Banquet TV dinner.
no thanks.

I think they're driving SUVs and campers. That's why most of the footprints are mostly fakes.
