Default West Virginia River Property

I currently live in Maryland and I am looking to purchase a future retirement lot/home in West Virginia. I am looking for privacy and river frontage. Can anyone suggest an undiscovered paradise?

There are some beautiful river front properties along the Ohio River. I'm from Williamstown, which is about 2 minutes across the bridge from Marietta, OH. There are some very nice houses along the river here. There is a nice little development in Waverly which is about 5 minutes from Williamstown, along the Ohio. It's wooded, secluded yet still close enough to town, and i do believe the houses all have boat docks. If you need any more info, just let me know!

Default Greenbrier River Valley

Hoovermatic,

You might also want to look at the Greenbrier River Valley, in Pocahontas and Greenbrier counties. Very rural (Pocahontas County has fewer than 10K residents, in a county of 1000 sq. miles).

Regards,
Snorpus
