I have a three year old with Autism so schools are super important. I just visited Mamaroneck but I've never been to Rye. In terms of school districts, what is the difference between Rye Town and Rye City? Does one have more of a family friendly feel? How is the special needs program?
Any opinions on Hartsdale and their school districts? I was told Edgemont is good and Greenburgh is not?
Good morning mbrandt05: from what I've been told, I believe you should research the Ardsley school district. They have an excellent school system in general; in additional they also have a very good reputation in educating children with autism and Asperger's. Hope your search is fruitful...
I was wondering what you found with your research? We have an almost-3 year old with autism and are trying to decide on our next steps and are considering a move to the Ardsley district.
Is its autism program still top-notch?
Thanks.
