Hi,
I am in the process of looking for a female pediatrician in the upper Westchester/Putnam Valley area. One who is comfortable with spacing out vaccines, takes their time with you, and friendly. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Briarcliff might be a bit too far. Thanks for the suggestion, though. It seems there are plenty of male peds but not many female in the region. Could anyone else make a suggestion?

Though this is Central Westchester, there are many great female pediatricians at the WestMed office on Westchester Ave. in White Plains/Harrison that would fit your needs.

Mt. Kisco Medical Group near Northern Westchester Hospital has a terrific pediatrics group (we have Dr. Jill Ratner). The office is super efficient and pleasant, it's easy to get a same day sick appt and they have weekend, evening and holiday hours as well. Can't really speak to the vaccines as we moved here after my kids had already had most of them. Our previous doctor was in Santa Monica (the liberal bastion of West LA) and I had to argue and argue for even minimal spacing like one vaccine per office visit - go figure.
