I'm looking for a new pediatrician for my one month old son. We've had three appointments so far, and I'm just not comfortable nor too happy with his current doctor. Without mentioning names, his current doctor is with White Plains Pediatrics.
Has anyone used a pediatrician through Soundview Pediatrics? I was really interested in a consultation with them before giving birth, but never found the time. I'd appreciate any info, negative or positive, that anyone has about this particular group.
Also, if you know of any other good pediatricians/pediatric groups in White Plains, I'd appreciate any recommendations. Thanks in advance!
We go to Westchester Medical Group's ped practice. The doctors are great and the front desk is friendly. They have a few locations -- WP, Rye and Yonkers.

Just my .02 but we actually had the opposite experience. We first tried to go there before our son was born just to ask a few questions, etc... But after 15 minutes of waiting in line while other people were signing in, asking questions, etc... we walked out. Nobody even asked to see if anyone in line had any urgent issues or anything. I assume it was a fluke but it was bad enough that it made us leave and never come back.
Sorry to hear that. We usually go to the Rye office, perhaps the staff is more attentive there. I know the WP office can/is more crowded.

I love Soundview Pediatrics - - Dr. Kaplan was my dr and now my kids go to him. Nevertheless, I like the entire practice with the exception of one doctor that can just be a little too snippity - but one out of five docs ain't bad.
