This is literally the most pleonastic 1-dimensional forum I have EVER come across.

Just had to say that...

Yes, does it have a village feel with a store that sells yoga mats and kale?
Or would I be more likely to find that stuff in Rye? ;-)

But where else could I go to find out that if I love my kids the most I should send them to Bronxville/Scarsdale/Chappaqua/Rye. If I want them to have a great education but still be down to earth go to Pleasantville/Mamaroneck/Pelham. If I only want them to be mediocre send them to White Plains/New Rochelle/Ossining. Or if I need to buy a bullet proof vest with school supplies send them to Yonkers or Mount Vernon?

Exactly.
Let's just post that in the FAQ and shut down this forum.
It would save everyone a lot of tying.

What town has good, convenient shopping? I need an organic market that's earth-friendly and quite liberal. The river towns seem run down, but there are so many finance people in Bronxville and Rye. We're looking for a 4 BR with pool like we had back in Stixwoods. My budget is $1500 per month. Good schools a month, as long as there's plenty of diversity and nearby beaches.
