Default trick or treat in Sleepy Hollow

I live in New York City, but want a real trick or treating experience that a small town can offer. Have never had one before... Naturally hearing that sleepy hallow has an old small town atmosphere and even the legend of the headless horseman makes me think it would be a great place to trick or treat for halloween. Where is Sleepy Hallow is the best trick or treating to be found?

The best spot for trick-or-treaing is probably next door in neighboring Tarrytown. Most of Sleepy Hollow proper is hispanic. I doubt most of those folks even understand what Halloween is. Maybe they could throw some weird Mexican candy in your bag?

Default thanks for the reply

I have been informed elsewhere that the north end of sleepy hallow... near the dutch church cemetary, is a good place to start trick or treating. around phillips manor, sleepy hallow manor and bellwood ave. would this be a good start or should i pursue tarrytown?
