Recommended day/child care in Westchester?? 16 month old son. (Rye: day care, home)

Hi! I am desperately searching for a reputable day care in Westchester.. we are in Port Chester but would travel to where ever needed for the best care!

Have you tried searching the child care council of westchester's website? They list NYS licensed providers - home based, day care center, etc. Child Care Council of Westchester, Finding child care, training for child care providers in Westchester County NY. You can search by different criteria, including zip code.

And it would probably help if you were more specific about the type of day care you're looking for. Everyone clearly wants the best care for their kids, but that means different things to different people. Are you looking for home based, day care center, do you need longer hours, want montessori, is there a max price you're willing to pay, etc?

We love St Paul's Child Care on King Street in Rye Brook - both of our boys were there from 6 months old.

Little Angels Child Care Center in Rye. Its located in the Avon Plaza but they also take children from the community. Its a wonderful center, close to Port Chester. I worked there as a teacher and was happy to have my daughter attend when I was working there. Many working moms who are teachers have their children attend and that speaks volumes in my opinion. Your son would be in one of the toddler rooms and Magda, one of the toddler teachers there is the absolute BEST!
