We are thinking of buying a house in Edgemont. What is the story with parking at the hartsdale train station? I understand i apply for a permit through Greenburgh. Is there a wait list to get the permit? If I do get the permit, are there even enough spots if I want to get on a 830am train? Thanks.

I don't know how many spots there are , but neighboring White Plains and North White Plains has a lot of spots. There are also more trains at White Plains then Hartsdale.

Call the village...it fluctuates all the time. A 8:30 train would be a tough call to get metered spaces anywhere.

Maybe, but there are lots of rush-hour trains that simply do Hartsdale-Scarsdale-GCT. Parking at 8:30 would be problematic and there used to be a wait list, but definitely call to find out.
