No one here rents furniture. We buy it. For poor people there's Ikea. I furnished a whole house for $3500.

We are bringing furniture too. Because we could end up in a small Hong Kong apartment next we will use our allowance for renting. Thanks. I found Churchill and cort

Both Churchill and Cort are companies that will have options for your needs. I have used both, though not in NYC/Westchester when selling vacant properties without any problem. You do not want a place that offers rent to own, as the demographic profile of the customer is not executive relocation and as such there can be issues when you want to return the furniture.

I am in the wrong business.

"The renting process itself was efficient. After deciding on a beige chair with chrome legs for the following week, we called the toll-free number on the site and were connected to a rep in our area. She quoted us $500 for a weekend rental. . . ."

Oh my god. Really? Long term prices are quite reasonable on cort and Churchill. I'm just a bit worried bout stains etc.
