Hello forum, i got an upcoming trip and i am looking for a way to reach JFK from Tarrytown in Westchester county. We are a group of 5 and going on train is not really feasible due to the luggage we are carrying. Any help would be welcomed.
You could look into renting a car and returning same-day at the airport. I've done this and it can be much cheaper than a taxi. You'd need something big for 5 plus luggage so I'm not sure if that changes things.
We used ShuttlemeNY. We paid 22 dollars per person, best prices i could find in Westchester for a trip to the airport. Best part is they picked us up at home.

It is good to know about this alternative. Thanks for sharing.
taxis are priceyyyyy... especially for five. you need a minivan lol. or that shuttlemeny company , looks like they have big vans and cheap...
i usually drive to airports and park for 20-25$ a day, depending whether its Laguardia or JFK. you can even find some coupons online. the hassle of public transport and limitations of luggage with cabbies is just bad

Just used Eric for the first time yesterday. Great service. He showed up early, was pleasant to talk to, and his SUV was clean. Only $50 (including tolls) from New Rochelle to LGA vs $40 for a shared van or 80+ for a taxi/car service.
Can't recommend him highly enough.
