Our elementary-aged son was just diagnosed with a reading disability/ language-based learning disability. We were told he would need varying services throughout all of his academic years.

We currently live in CT, but are strongly considering a move to Northern, preferably Northeastern, Westchester, since we have heard that the quantity and quality of services are far superior. We need to stay in that general region for our jobs (located near Danbury CT).

There seem to be a lot of great posts regarding other areas of Westchester but the information in the upper region is quite limited. Does anyone have recommendations on specific public school districts / towns (e.g. Lewisboro, Bedford, North Salem, etc) that we should consider...and also ones to stay away from?

Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you!
