Hi guys! I'm interested in an apartment in this complex. Does anyone have any information on the area/ building? I've never lived in Yonkers before so I'm not too familiar.

It is a nice area. Very safe, not too far from McClean Ave where there are shops/pubs/resterants. Woodlawn in the Bronx is nearby, very heavy Irish population with Katonah Ave being the main throughourfare. Don't wander over to Wakefield however, major hoods and projects.
Good luck!

I agree with Webster. I visit every summer and that area is still nice. Norwood, sadly, is crap now.

Default 219 bronx river road

Hi! I have lived in this building for many years and recently retired. My apartment 6M is on the market . had 2 deals that fell through and i would love for you to contact my agent Elizabeth Brosnan at ERA insight realty 646-321-0838 The building is very well maintained, the rooms large, and the neighbors are wonderful. It is very convenient to both highways(bronx river parkwway, Deegan expressway) and public transportation. Metronorth across the street is 27 minutes to Grand Central and the NYC subway (both the east and west side subways 2 and the5 )are 2 blocks after Metronorth. I would be still be living there if I had not retired and relocated. My apartment is top floor and in the back (QUIET!) . The hallway area is considered 1/2 room and i have used it as my office(3 bookcases, computer station and desk fit with no problem) Hardwood floors living room and bedroom, rug in 1/2 room hall area and hall, ceramic tiles in kitchen and dining area. Call Elizabeth!! great building and area .
