What is you opinion of north white plains, near the metro north.
Is there shops in this area? Also, is there playground and activities for kids?

And is it convenient to use bicycle between it and the center of white Plains?

Also, is there a bicycle parking in White Plains metro station?

Thanks a lot!

There's a good amount of traffic in NWP being that 287, Bronx River Parkway, North Broadway, and Cross-Westchester extension all run through the area. But all things considered, the residential streets aren't too busy. You can walk to a few delis/pizza places, a restaurant, a bunch of gas stations, and a supermarket...so there is some stuff around but I wouldn't say there is a thriving Main Street or anything like that. Closest playgrounds are at the George Washington School, North Castle Community center, and Kensico Dam (which is the main attraction in the area).

It sounds like you use a bicycle to get around, and I think you've hit the nail on the head focusing on NWP if this is important to you. Easy ride to White Plains using North Broadway, two train stations close by (both of which have bike racks), close supermarket and pharmacy, access to bronx river bike path, scenic weekend rides up Route 22.

Any info on North Broadway coops specifically, 16 or 20 North Broadway? We're actually looking into both buildings. Thanks for your time.
