Thank you guys! How are the schools in Croton?
What do you guys feel about Dobbs Ferry in comparison?

Both school districts are good. Croton has slightly higher AP scores and Dobbs Ferry has slightly higher SAT scores, but by slightly I mean within a percentage point or two of each other. Very similar rankings. Dobbs Ferry has smaller classes, but again its 13:1 v 11:1, which are both very good.

For me, space is important and lot sizes in Dobbs Ferry are way too small for me. Croton you get a lot more land, especially outside the Rt 9 area. I would look more closely at both. Commute time is close to the same since Croton gets its own direct express. If you get the express at Dobbs Ferry its 35 minutes, if you get the express at croton is 45 minutes. But croton has a lot more trains, which si nice at night.

Both schools are close to equal IMO. Good luck.

I have a 2nd grader in Croton. Schools seem good, and we like the town.
