Default katonah real estate values

relocating to westchester from chicago and concerned about trying to flip houses in this real estate market. Are values coming down in upper westchester like the rest of the country? Specifically Katonah, Lewisboro area.

Values are coming down, but not nearly as much as other regions. There has always been a more realistic tie between earnings potential and property values here than in many other areas. As to flipping, just remember. Real Estate here is seasonal. If you're not selling in the spring, your buying audience is just a fraction of what it otherwise might be.

will be selling this spring so hopefully the buyers start to emerge - just wanted to see if values are falling at a similar rate in Westchester to evaluate the net economic result of flipping into a new market.

Thanks.
