Does anyone have a company that does window replacements in Westchester Country that you would recommend? I live in a house with very old windows and am thinking of replacing them. Also, does any have an estimate (per window or otherwise) on what a project like this would cost?

Thanks!

Although I am not in your area we used Window World www.windowsworld.com, they are in Newburgh NY for the Hudson Valley area. Cost was @$220 per windows installed but check with them for your location. Since getting them 3 years ago our electric usage went down by a 1/3 and I can't hear what is going on outside.

Very happy with the whole job and they installed 20 windows in 1 day.

My recommendation would be to go with one of the main manufacturers like Anderson, Pella, Marvin etc.
I had w few windows replaced, read consumers reports and they recommended "Survivor" brand which they rated the best. Three years later, the seal on the thermopile glass failed and all of the windows appear dirty since the glass failed. Their guarantee was great, however they have gone out of business.

Just my $.02 cents.
