Maybe this link will help

http://www.nysed.gov/stateaid/dist/FM07/NRT/660303.HTML

Looks like $15K for K-6 and $19K for 7-12

Special Ed is anywhere from $55K-$94K

We are thinking about sending our daugther to Bronxville School, we would like for her to start at K, do you think it's worth the 15 K?
if anyone knows kids in Bronxville K and elementary school, please share pros and cons.
Thank you

Wouldn't it just be easier to move there and rent instead of shelling out all of that money?

Aren't the new Avalon apartments in Bronxville part of the Bronxville school district?

yes, that would be better, but we had our house in the market for a while now, and it might take some more time, so for now, out of district seems to be the way to go.

I didn't know it was possible to send your kids to school in a district you don't live in (?)

Hi, yes, it is possible, it just gets pretty expensive, so for us it is a temporary option until we sale our house. We want our daugther to start from k so it isn't harder on her to be the new kid later.

Just my humble opinion, but shelling out 15k to send your child to ELEMENTARY school is a WASTE OF MONEY, no matter what school district it is. Of course if you have the money to spare, then by all means, be my guest.
