Scarsdale: picking between Greenacres and Fox Meadows? (homes, neighborhoods)

We have been looking to move to Scarsdale from the city since our kids are nearing school age. We narrowed down to Fox Meadow and Greenacres, primarily due to ease of commute. What we noticed was that Fox Meadow has a much higher median property value and per/sqft price compared to Greenacres. Our budget is just over 2mm, and based on numbers alone, that is 80th percentile in Greenacres and 20th percentile in Fox Meadow. Both areas seem nice based on our many visits, but Fox Meadow has a much higher high end. How does this play into social dynamics at the elementary schools? Is Greenacres Elementary more relaxed? What are parents saying about the upcoming Greenacres school construction? What might be the best ways to think about how to pick between the two neighborhoods?
We lived in Greenacres for 3 years. It is definitely more down to earth than Fox Meadow. Like you said, Fox Meadow has some very high end homes and has a snootier vibe, second only to Heathcote. Greenacres is much more uniform with respect to housing stock. Everyone I know that has kids in the elementary school loves it.
