Hi,
We would like to grieve our taxes on our house in Tarrytown. Has anyone here done that? Did you do it by yourself or use a lawyer? Any other tips you'd like to share? Thanks so much! Aurora |

First check comparable homes in your area to see if your taxes are in line. If they are high, first make an appointment and talk to the assessor. If you think you aren't getting anywhere, there are people who do "Certiorari's" Which is the process. Make sure the person is experienced in your town.
They DO NOT have to be an attorney. All the best! Kevin O'Shea |
