Armonk is the land of the 5' 1" soccer mom driving a Yukon Denali (or equivalent) who will tailgate you if you are not going the speed she wants to travel at. Just saying.

Smart move on Armonk's part. This is the right thing to do if they want to stay attractive to the current generation of young families moving up from Manhattan/Brooklyn.

Rubygreta's not wrong about the demographics, though. Once they rezone for walkability, it'll be the land of the 5' 1" soccer mom pushing an armor-plated McLaren stroller who'll run you off the sidewalk if you don't get out of her way .

That's as scary as seeing blue hair and knuckles when driving in South Florida....
