Default Bronxville?

We're thinking of moving back to the NYC area after some years away. We have school-age kids now and the school situation in the city seems so complicated that we thought maybe we'd look in the suburbs as well, tho neither of us has had much experience of them. Bronxville has particularly caught our attention. But can someone explain how the school tax works in Bronxville? Is it calibrated according to property values? Or is there a flat tax? About how much should we expect to pay? (Any other info on Bronxville and, esp, the elementary and middle school would also be appreciated!) Thanks.
