Is it possible to find a 2BR apartment ranging $1200-$1300 in a "good" area of Yonkers?

Seems a little bit low. 1br's in nice neighborhoods usually run about $1,000 - $1,200.

Nah, I say no chance. Maybe you'll get lucky with an experienced broker, but for a 2bdr expect to pay at least $1,500-1700.
Well, that's what I found when I was in the market for renting several months ago. I gave up and bought instead ![]() By the way, what do you mean by the "good areas" of Yonkers? |

"good areas" of Yonkers is pretty obvious. Anywhere in Yonkers outside of the Southwestern part of the city is good. The Southwest part of Yonkers is considered to be the "bad" part of town.
