Hi all,

I have been given a quote of $299 for a 1 bedroom co-op in Hartsdale.
The coverage is for dwelling, personal property, loss of use, personal liability, medical payments to others.
Optional parts are: personal property replacement, protective device credits, loss assessment coverage, identity fraud expense coverage, water back up and sump discharge/overflow.

I wanted to know if this is too high, too low or good enough for a co-op that is not in NYC.
How much do you guys pay for insurance, typically in Hartsdale and around?
Are there any companies that you would recommend for cheap insurance?

I did not shop around myself, but a person from my broker's affiliated firm did. Would it be a better idea to shop around myself?

Thanks a lot,
budweiser
