Help! (Yonkers, Vernon, Leon: apartment, place to live, shopping center)

Hi. I'm new to this forum, I'm looking for a place to live in westchester.
I saw a great apartment listed somewhere at Yonkers Terrace, pretty close to the Mt. Vernon west Metro rail station.
Does anybody knows the place?
Is it safe enough to live there?

That's right off Bronx River Road and Yonkers Ave. Its OK over there. Borders Woodlawn (Bronx) so in addition to Mt. Vernon West you can take an NYC subway into Manhattan which is a good deal cheaper. You're near the Cross County Shopping Center, Yonkers Raceway and can shoot up the Thruway to go to Stew Leonards famous food store.
