Default Lakeland schools- Lincoln Titus

My sister is considering buying a home in Cortlandt. Anybody have any info on Lincoln Titus Elementary School- compared to other Lakeland elementary schools. I know Lakeland schools are not top ranked- but elem. schools seem to have high test scores. Also- do many commute to lower Manhattan from this area or is that going to be a nightmare for her husband???? thanks- any info would be helpful!

I went to george washington but that was in the 80s. The schools were ok at that time imo. High school was ok too but as I got closer to graduating the school was getting very overcrowded and more fights were breaking out on a daily basis. My info is probably dated though!

I commuted to manhattan from mohegan lake. It all depends on where he's commuting to in manhattan. Where I lived I wasnt very close to the train station. I opted to drive to croton harmon. I also worked in downtown. It took me an hour and forty minutes door to door. If the train station is close by that'll save time and if he's working close to grand central that'll save time as well.
