Default Flooding along Saw Mill

Hi all-

We have recently relocated to Westchester and are house hunting in the River Towns, though our options are LIMITED. We found one that we like, but my friend who has lived in the area for years told me to stay away because it is on a street that runs right along the Saw Mill River Parkway. Does anyione know how frequently the Saw Mill floods and how much damage is caused to houses close by, specifically in the River Towns?

Thanks ahead of time, Martina

The Saw Mill floods about every time there's a heavy rain. I don't know about flooding in the actual towns, but the parkway floods.

There can be stretches of the parkway that are severely flooded with heavy rains. What stretch of the parkway are you considering?
