Westchester tax records?
Is there a website where you can look up property tax records including home sale prices in Westchester? New Jersey has an online tax records search where you can search by address, owner name, lot #, etc. but I haven't been able to find it for NY. It's very helpful in getting comps when shopping for a house, as you can imagine. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

you can search home sales on The Journal News' web site at lohud.com | The Journal News | Westchester, Rockland, Putnam news, community, entertainment, yellow pages and classifieds. Serving Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, New York and then go to the data central section. These are the actual property transactions as recorded by the county, not guestimates like on zilow.com.
as for general tax info on a particular property, i don't think any westchester municipality makes that info available online at this time. you'd have to either call or visit the town assessor's office to get that. |

White Plains and Greenburgh have this info online. New Rochelle is about to go online. |
