Port Chester, Harrison and Elmsford (White Plains: house, school district, price)

Hi folks! I have been house hunting in White Plains for the past few weeks and wanted to see what people are saying about nearby Port Chester, Harrison and Elmsford.

I would appreciate any comments especially in regard to schools and some details on the community. We are looking for an unpretentious and diverse area with families.

We are looking for $450-$550k.

Of the three communities that you're considering, the best one from the perspective of schools is Harrison. West Harrison would fit your desires in a community, and while it might be a search to find a house in the specified price range, there are some between $500-$550(ish) that are in the Harrison Central School District.
