Old Iron Estates in Bedford Corners, any problems? (Ridge: for sale, house)

My husband and I recently looked at a home in Bedford Corners on Hollow Ridge Road in the Old Iron Estates. The home was beautiful as well as its surroundings, however we were quite concerned with the number of properties that are for sale in the "complex". Is there something wrong with the area? Does it flood or have some other undesirable characteristic? We would appreciate any information anyone has.

haven't heard anything, but from what i recall, they've been building in there for a while. maybe people got overextended by buying at the height of the market? are you working with a buyer's agent? they should be able to find out why people say they are selling.

I live in old iron estates and am very happy here. Although my house is for sale as well, it has nothing to do with the neighborhood! We are looking to move closer to my husband's office. The homes are all very high end quality homes built by 2 different builders. They seem to have finished the homes right when the market took a turn for the worse. We have been here for over a year and I find it to be very convenient to most locations. Feel free to ask any questions. If we end up staying we would love to have more neighbors!
