Default Snow plowing in Croton-on-Hudson/Yorktown Heights

Hi - we took a ride through some nice neighborhoods in Croton-on-Hudson and Yorktown Heights. Some of these neighborhoods were fairly isolated on narrow roads that were hilly and winding. This brought up the question: "What happens when it snows"?

Does the village or town clear the snow and, if so, is it done fairly quickly? Do they just clear the main arteries or all the streets taken care of? Thanks in advance.

I live on one of the narrowest, curviest, and hilliest streets in Yorktown (a favorite of walkers and serious cyclists!). The town is excellent about snow--they salt before snow and then plow multiple times during and after snow. Our road always gets plowed quite well. That said, there have been times in the morning when the snow is really heavy and I've waited a half hour for the plow to come back through--and there have been times at night when I probably should have waited. We have all-wheel drive and I recommend it for anywhere up here.
