So I've been looking into coops in Westchester and many affordable apartments come up in Yonkers. Can I get some suggestions on the following 2 areas:

1 - North Broadway, sandwiched between Lennon Park and the Glenwood train station
2 - Warburton Ave, about a mile south of the Greystone train station, north of Trevor park.

Thanks in advance!

We live in Greystone area since May 2017 (across Untermyer Gardens). It's lovely, quiet and safe. Lots of trees, friendly neighborhood and great commute to the City. I would be careful about Glenwood Station area, but anything above Lake Ave is OK. Somebody called it "secret middle-class pocket in Yonkers" and it's exactly what it is

Greystone is a very nice, pretty quiet area. The main concern there is the schools. However, if you don't have school-aged kids, it's one of the most underrated areas in lower Westchester to live.
