Default Average cost of utilities in Peekskill

Hi there- My husband and I are very close to making an offer on a two-story 1300 sq.ft home in Peekskill. We are wondering if people would be able to give examples of how much they pay total for utilities around there. The house has a gas stove and gas heating, no A/C. Thanks a lot!

I have no idea, since we have oil and propane, but you might want to post the question on this blog:

We have lived in Peekskill about 5 months in a drafty, 3-story, approx 1800 sq ft house. We too have oil heat (that's been expensive), but we have gas for hot water and stove (don't ask, I don't really understand it either), no a/c. Our electric bill has ranged from a low of about $65 to a high in Dec of about $115 a month (anyone have any thoughts on how much electricity Christmas lights use?). Gas has been pretty constatnt at around $40, give or take. Our water/sewer bills have been around $70, but I think that is bi-monthly.

Hope that helps and good luck - will be pleased to welcome you to the neighborhood
