Hey, Everyone! (Newburgh, Rockland, Buchanan: sublet, apartments, lease)

I am so tickled to find a forum set up for this. Forums have given me life saving info all the way to cleaning carpets! Thanks for being here. My question?
A very dear friend is having to go to Buchanan to work from Feb. 15 to April 10, which could amount to 3 months rent and thats ok. He needs a place to live while he's working at Indian Point 3.
He has an RV if there is an open fairly close park, or a one bedroom apt. for 3 months reasonable will work as well.
Any ideas? I'd appreciate it lots!

I cannot think of any RV campgrounds in the vicinity that are year-round. There is one in Newburgh, about 25 miles away, but it opens in March, I believe. It's a KOA campground.

In terms of a short-term apartment, I would recommend a search on sublet.com or Craigslist. CL tends to cover Westchester and Fairfield, CT, whereas sublet.com has an option for Putnam, Orange, Rockland, Dutchess, under Southern NY. You may find some Rockland and Putnam properties listed in the Westchester section as well on CL; and, not all of the apartments on sublet are lease take-overs as they have some that are short-term, furnished apartments represented by owner.
