Are there affordable rentals for 2 or 3 beds in Bronxville or mainly homes? I assume the commute about 25 minutes.

Advise please and thanks. Our budget it approx $2K per month.

The Bronxville school district is one of the best n the County which is why homes in the district are very expensive. You may be able to find a 1BR apartment for around $1800-2000 but I think a 2BR may run you more. When you do a search, make sure you search by school district as there are a lot of places with listed with a Bronxville PO but Yonkers, Eastchester and Tuckahoe schools. These apartments are considerably cheaper. Good Luck.

You absolutely must be within the village borders of Bronxville to have the schools, so I would pay particular attention to the school district when searching. And, just to be sure, if it's on the borders of the neighborhood, check with the district yourself to spare any aggravation. Bronxville is part of the Town of Eastchester, but the schools serve the village as Eastchester has Eastchester and Tuckahoe school districts as noted above. But, in contrast, with Eastchester you can be zoned for Tuckahoe schools and in the Village of Tuckahoe, you can have Eastchester schools.

If you like Bronxville, also consider Pelham. Pelham also has very good schools, and a fast commute to NYC. Pelham has a good mix of housing, and you very well might find a decent rental in your price range, either an apartment or a small house. The Town of Pelham has one school district that covers the entire town, including its villages. While shopping and conveniences are not as comprehensive in a single location, compared to Bronxville, the various neighborhoods are not remote. And, Pelham is not far from Bronxville via car for the shops, movies, etc.

Bronxville might be up there nationally considering all the good schools in Westchester.
