Default Parking in New Rochelle

First off -- everyone on these forums are super helpful..thank you!
Does anyone have any insight on parking availability (off-street or monthly rental) in New Rochelle? I'm relocating and will eventually bring my car so ease (or not!) of finding parking is of huge concern to me because I'm competely unfamiliar with having to circle a block and wait to find parking!
I will be working in midtown taking the Metro North to Grand Central, so any info on parking availability or how to get a permit would be helpful.

Thx

First, check this out...

The most convenient parking is the NR Transit Center, that's right at the train station. But, I don't know if anything is available.

New Roc Garage is also convenient and only a block away. New Roc Garage has meter parking for the day if you can't get a permit right away. I used to park at Lawn Avenue and walk the three blocks to the station.

Be sure to call the Parking Manager first at 914 654 2189 to see if parking is available.

Forget the streets. The meters don't last long enough and New Rochelle loves their parking tickets.

Are you just talking about station parking or also residential parking?
