looking for a house in tarrytown (train station, suburb, station)

hello,
i am coming on july to work as an intern in regeneron pahrmateuticals (located in tarrytown) for two to three months and I am having difficulty in finding a place to stay. Do you think it would be wise to also look to other areas conected to tarrytown through the MNR and commute?

Suburb to Suburb commuting, via MNR, is not extremely efficient. Afterall, you still need transportation to the train station, and then from the train station to your place of employment. Not to mention, more limited train service for suburb to suburb, as opposed to rush hour commuting into the city.

It certainly makes sense to look at other towns in and around Westchester. Assuming you have a car, no place in Westchester would really be more than 20-30 minute drive from Tarrytown.
