Default Moving to Tarrytown,NY; One 3.5year old son; Need some advise in moving !!!

Hi,

Me and my family live in Wayne,NJ and my husband works in Mahwah,NJ. My son goes to Apple Montessori in wayne, 1 mile away from our apartment. I have got a job in Tarrytown, NY and we wanted to move as close as possible to Tarrytown, my job work location.

My husband will commute from Tarrytown(or where ever our new apartment would be) since the commute from NY > NJ over the tappanzee bridge would be against the traffic both in the morning and in the evening.

We are looking for a Pre-K school that is open from 9:00am - 5:00pm for my 3.5 old son and a nice apartment complex nearby.

Can somebody please suggest some good school for my son and some apartments ?

Please. I have to start work on 5/21.

THANKS A TON !!!!!

Default Tarrytown information

I am not sure of your religious denomination, but we are currently sending our son to pre-K at Transfiguration School, which is a Catholic school in Tarrytown. There are many non-Catholic children in the pre-k class, but religious education is definitely part of the curriculum. We have been very happy with the program academically and feel that is really preparing our son for Kindergarten. The program goes from 8am -2pm, but they also have a great after school program until 6pm. I work from 8:30 to 5:00 and my son is cared for at the school all day. You mentioned apartments nearby in Tarrytown. Not sure of the size you are looking for - there is an apartment complex right next door to the school, which is an easy walk.
