Default Looking for townhouse communities in Westchester County

Hi All,

My wife and I are looking to purchase a townhouse or single family attached home in Westchester County. We do not mind single family detached as well but we would like to be in a community.

Our budget is 630K with a minimum of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We would prefer a new development. School districts are an important consideration for us as well. She works at Tarrytown and I work in the City. I would prefer to keep my commute to less than 60 mins.

If there are any suggestions that anybody can provide us regarding such communities that will truly be appreciated. I have gone to Trulia and googled stuff but nothing productive has come up.

Thanks all....

Yes, in that district, there is a condo development called The Arbors.

Also, there is a site that specifically lists Westchester condos. I can't name the site here because the admins will delete it. But do the obvious google search and hopefully you will hit on it.

Yes, the Arbors in Rye Brook would meet your requirements. Also, there are 2 developments in Chappaqua (I live in 1 of them), Old Farm Lake and Apple Hill, both would meet your requirements.

All the options mentioned are not especially new -- Built in the 1980's.

Vikas,
There are also some detached homes in the village of Rye Brook that could fall within your budget. Prices have dropped quite a bit in the last 2 years, so it might be worth checking out.
