Now, I'll have to check out Bank Street Commons, Avolon, and Mamaroneck Ave.
Any more suggestions would be Gurrreat!!!
Thanks!
Places like Bank St and other "luxury" types of places are going to charge you separately for parking. That's why I liked that place. Parking included is a big deal in White Plains especially that close to the train station, not to mention the rent amt that is much less than these luxury buildings. You can even fire up char coal grill in the court yard or behind the complex, another small luxury that most apartment residents don't have. Also, you get a huge storage room in the basement about the size of a small bedroom, another bonus you are not likely to get for free in White Plains.

We moved out of there last year because we had to find a good school district for our son, but we were there 2 yrs and anytime someone asks about good rental places in White Plains, I always recommend this place.

Default You may also want to look at Hartsdale, Dolivas

Hartsdale also has a very nice downtown, close walking distance to the train station, and one stop away from White Plains. In the downtown area there are a number of reasonably-priced apartments that you may want to investigate. Hartsdale is a very pretty place to live, the only drawback is that the schools are not on a par with the better districts in Westchester. I live in Hartsdale and am very familiar with the area, feel free to PM me if you need additional details.

Would suggest you look at the Metro North schedules-which you'd take to the city. Lots of extpress trains from White Plains.
Also, Harrison-there are apt. there too, as well as various costs for houses-easy commute to the city. Very safe area.
