I've lived here for 3 years and parking is awful! I'm thankful we are renting because I would never buy here because of it. The last thing you want to do when you get home from work is circle for 45 mins before finding parking. Sometimes it's a battle because everyone is looking for parking. All I want to do is go in and play with my daughter and it takes that much time away from that...it's extremely frustrating! It's residents only Mon-Fri 7am-9am. What is that about?!? I see people from the train parking in "resident parking" all the time because the timeframe for residents only is so small. Also the gym down on Greyrock takes all the spots for their valet parking in the morning when people leave for work and are still taking them the time people come home from work. Something needs to be done where parking in "resident spots" truly is for residents only.
I believe there are several buildings with short wait lists for garage spaces. There always seems to be parking on the south end of the street near Harney Road. There is a large town-owned lot that parallels the railroad tracks where you can buy a permit.
Parking isn't bad at all. There is a lot in the back of the buildings on the train side and there are always spots. I've never had an issue and always get a spot. Maybe not the exact spot I want, but always get one. I
I just moved to Garth Road 2 months ago. Parking hasn't been an issue. The spots on Garth Road itself is scarce, particularly the further north you go. That's because everyone on the west side of Garth Road is parking there.
For those of us on the east side of Garth Road, we have the option of parking on Grayrock Road behind the building. I've never had to park very far from my building on Grayrock Road.
Most buildings have indoor garages but there's only enough spaces for under a third of the residents. So the waitlist is ridiculous (i.e. 10+ years).
Iv been told those are nice. I know a friend of a friend who owns one and she has been trying to sell it for 5 years.
Tell her to adjust the price.
