The poker is funny. U have a bunch of wannabe pros with their dark glasses and hooded sweatshirts acting like they're at the World Series. I sat down and played about an hour (ps I'm not that good) and made we a quick couple hundred. If your a real player you can roll most of the "wannabes up there".

nice dude! i wouldn't consider myself a pro but i've been doing well online and live for a few years now. i can't find a 1-2 game in Charlotte so this would be the next best thing. good to hear there's action, would prefer live cards/chips but as long as there a good flow of money i'm gonna check it out ...

There is no real casino in Cherokee. The poker is a joke.

Agreed. I do well when I've gone out to Vegas, mostly just slots and blackjack. Never came home with less than I left with. Cherokee, just the opposite. Been there four or five times. I won't go back.

i checked it out this weekend. played about 15 hours, basically broke even. play was solid though, i just ran in to some tough hands. like some people mentioned it should be an easy game to beat in the long run. you could tell the "regulars" pretty easily from the tourists. i took most my pots from the grannys and college kids, tried to stay away from the guys that knew what they were doing. my weekend came down to one hand really, JJ vs AA and we both flopped our set. i was on the wrong side of that $1500 pot ...
i didn't mind the electronic tables. play was fast and the cards stayed true most of the time. didn't see the types of beats you see online, even though we were averaging about the same hands per hour (40-50). i'll definitely be going back, would reccommend if you're in the NC/SC/GA/TN area since there's really no other options ...
now if some one in CLT has a home game they'd like to invite me to, hit me up!!
