How's it looking up there? I read Neufield's report and I think peak will be a bit later. We are going to be in Valle Crucis/Boone/Blowing Rock next week (Oct. 14 - 18) and I am hoping for a cold snap. We always go around mid-Oct. and I hope we see some color! Any hope?
Thanks -

Color is beautiful on the higher peaks. Today, I really enjoyed driving Hwy 194 between Valle Crucis and Banner Elk. I agree that next week should be even better. You should be coming at a great time.
