Wink Honest realtors??

HI! I am from MS looking to move to NC in 6 months. I recently traveled through Hendersonville and thought it was wonderful! I have a 6yr, 5yr, and 8 month old. I am very concerned with good schools, so any suggestions there would be greatly appreciated. I am also a nurse, so a good hospital is good too. We like being away from a lot of hustle and bustle, but within a relatively short driving distance from "the big city". Being from MS, I want somewhere where people are friendly..a good place to raise my kids! Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated! OH! and anyone know of a good honest realtor who could help us find a home?
Thanks!

Default Honest Realtors

Remember to do your homework when looking for property. Realtors say they only know what they are told by the owner of the property you have to asked the question if there is something you want to know as the question they are suppose to answer it or find out what the answer is. Also go to the county web site of the county that the house is in that you are looking for like Henderson County NC they have a county web site on line that all you need is the pin # off the MLS Sheet of the property you are interested in and that will give you the parcel # and you can pull up the new appraisals that were just recently done on all the propertys here and in Asheville. You are looking for the tax bill they are inflated somewhat already so don't over pay. Also you can make sure the property is not in a flood plain or on a water shed. Also if any additions were done to the property ask if they were inspected by the county and do they have a co Certificate of Occupancy if they were supposed to have the addition inspected and did not then you could be resposible for any problems and repairs which could be very expensive. This is also away to negotiate a better price. Good Luck Do Your Homework!
