Default Easy (even paved) running trails in Asheville?

I'm new to the area, and amy trying to find a good place to go for my morning runs. Here is the challenge - my knees are on the mend from an injury, and uneven or very hilly terrain is hard on them. Flatter terrain is good for them.

There are tons of great trails around the MtS trail and in the woods, and I'll tackle them as soon as I'm 100%. In the meantime, can someone recommend a tamer trail, a little flatter, and maybe even paved (or crushed gravel)?

thanks!

The trail around Carrier Park in West Asheville is mostly paved, 1.5 miles long, and runs right along the river (flat). That's where my wife likes to run the most.
