Default Cabin rentals and skiing recommendations
A small group of us are looking to go skiing for a weekend sometime this winter. I am looking for suggestions for a ski resort as well as a weekend cabin rental. We live close to Charlotte and we're looking for a place within a 2 hour drive. Welcome all suggestions...thanks!

As far as skiing in NC is concerned, I definitely recommend Sugar Mtn. I think there are a lot more condo rentals than cabins on Sugar. There seem to be quite a few cabin rentals in Valle Crucis, which isn't very far from Sugar. Try googling NC High Country Host... they should have good lodging info for the whole area.
