Old North,
That price was Basement:Footers /three walls(4th is frame)floor slab/14 pier footers for porch, tree removal and excavation. The bear carving was extra!!
Thanks Salty for sharing your pics and the info on the basement cost. Beautiful home you have. Gives us an idea esp since you included the dimensions. Happy Holidays to all!
Salty,
I totally understand why you have the bear and were willing to pay for him to live at your place.
May I ask how much you paid for him and who let him out of the log? He is awesome! Think I might like one of his relatives at my place! Thanks!
Winstondog
If I recall we paid him $450.His name was Fred(we do have his b-card if you want it)from Cullowee, near Sylva. It was very cold that day and he worked 5 hrs w/o a break.Quite a sight to see.You will find there are several chainsaw carvers sprinkled around the mountains.
Thanks Salty! Think it is worth it. I like them Chainsaw bears climbing out of stumps! Yes please send me his info.
