Not sure where I want to go. Definitely away from the coast. Western NC.
Would like new construction, price range low to mid 100s, near shopping, restaurants, movies. Was looking at Greensboro as an option. Previous post got no replies. Hate HOAs but seems to be the norm everywhere. Would like opinions of new developments in Greensboro by K Hovnanian. Most are near I 40. I have been reading that the desirable areas of Greensboro are North or NW of Down town. I'll be making a trip up next week to check the area. Your input is appreciated. Thanks.

Just a suggestion...have you considered Rutherford County? Located in western NC. I realize that you mentioned Greensboro in your post. Greensboro is more of the central piedmont area of NC. I used to live in the triad but grew up here in Rutherford County therefore I'm a little partial. The county is growing as a great relocation spot for people all over the US especially Florida. It's a great location and the housing dollar is strong especially when compared with other NC markets.
